If you’re playing BioShock, I discovered a “fool proof” way to take down a BigDaddy very quickly without any risk;
Highlight spoiler text below for solution:
Once you get the crossbow and trap bolts, line up a corridor with 4 of them. Drop 2-3 Proximity mines along the same path. Shoot Big Daddy. Watch him charge you and die in the trap you’ve set.

More end game spoilers;
If you release all little sisters: They give you the key to the city and you care for them as they grow up, send them to college and teach them to love. In the end, the game ends with a scene showing a withered mans hand (elderly, on his death bed) covered by the hands of several younger women… your “children.”
If you harvest all little sisters: They give you the key to the city and you abuse them. The end-game cut scene ends with the splicers, now under your control, reaching the surface and launching an attack against a nuclear submarine. It is implied that you start a world war.
