I’ve begun to enjoy building model soldiers.  The challenge of building the model, converting the model to be unique from other kits of the same model, and painting the model is quite enjoyable.  My current pride and joy is from Games Workshop’s model line, the Tyranid Red Terror.  This pewter model comes in 13 pieces and must be joined.  Superglue provides insufficient hold to combine multiple pewter pieces together, so I pinned them using a pin drill and paper clip metal secured with superglue.  All but one piece of the model is pinned to another piece.  The lower jaw was the hardest to assemble and required additional assistance and ingenuity than I possessed on my own.  Now the process of painting the model.

This photo is an in progress shot of my model.
