Planning your own EOL
I monitor Scott’s RSS feed and he seems to be doing what I’m doing, dumping old links to his blog for archival purpose. Among the list of links that I found interesting was a blog article entitled “Planning your own EOL”
I never bothered much with a will because frankly I didn’t care what happened after the mythical moment when I no longer exist, but now that I’ve met my precious, I think more and more about doing things to take care of her should she ever find herself without me.

I had the same opinion as you before; eh, my death would be a little free money to family, but they weren’t depending on it so it wasn’t much of a priority.
Age (so there’s more people and relationships) and tighter interweaving (Jennifer and I have a house payment as long as one of us is above ground) make it look more important now. I can only imagine how much stress trying to prepare security for a child would be.
