I’ve completed the first draft of the Post Levels 2 plugin that I’m using here.

Post Levels is a Wordpress plugin that permits the administrator to hide private posts from users with insufficient access.  This is performed by assigning a post level to each post, and a user level to each user, and a post is hidden if the user level is less than the post level.  Originally authored by Felipe Fortes.

This version has been tested with Wordpress 2.6.1 and 2.7 without any conflicts.

    As far as I know. I've not done extensive testing and I've not upgraded to the latest release.

    Is this still alive and working for Wordpress 2.8?

    G, it's possible your bug was related to what Katy was experiencing (when setting Post Preview to "Title only" all posts were hidden to users who were logged out instead of showing the title.)

    Can't say for sure unless you provide more information. Try downloading the latest version and giving it another test.

    I'll need additional information to support you. Please provide a link to your blog and a list of all of your plugins. Also, please try configuring your wordpress blog to only have this plugin enabled (disable all other plugins) and check to see if the problem continues. (Sometimes plugins will integrate poorly with each other.)

    I'll do the best I can, but I cannot promise to resolve all integration issues with all other plugins.

    The private post is always hidden. I didnt touch the config file (both values are at 0).

    Even if I am browsing as an admin I can only see the private post in the site admin panel...
