Year of Music

In case you haven’t noticed, I’m aiming to put one song on my blog each day for the entire year of 2010. I’m trying not to post “oldies but goodies” but rather stuff that’s been released in the recent past. This means a lot of rock and alternative, because that’s what I’m mostly interested in.

I find it an interesting challenge to try to find 365 songs that I like. It’s certainly more interesting that sifting through the thousands of songs I have on my IPOD from the last 15 years that I still haven’t rated. Sure there’s going to be a few 4/5 and 5/5 songs in there that I’d love to find, but the vast majority are 2/5 and 3/5 and I just don’t feel like listening to them.
