The purpose of this Blog is to permit the author to keep in touch with a number of friends, the focus of the blog beyond an interactive mass-communication medium is somewhat sketchy. The author (John) has many hobbies, which include web development (html, asp, php, javascript), photography (nikon d80 w/ 18-200mm ED-IF AF VR Nikkor lens), music (trance/industrial/popular rock), podcasts (10th Wonder, and various others), video games, etc.
The primary reason that this blog may appear random and rarely updated is because either (a) it hasn’t been updated recently or (b) the updates are made available only to users with a username/password for the blog. This additional security precaution is taken to prevent some personal information from exceeding the intended distribution parameters. (i.e., personal information is protected by password, more generalized information is not protected.)
John Williams is known by several aliases and has enjoyed a long line of alter egos. Many of his friends know him by his middle name (not given here) or by an online alias. His last nickname “Malanthazon” comes from his primary character on Worlds of Warcraft, a MMORPG which he no longer plays, which is a derivation of the name of his favorite fictional character.
Born in Southern California, John’s early years were typified by frequent relocation and turbulance, finally settling in the Central Valley. After stepping out on his own, he moved to the San Francisco-Bay Area in Northern California, where he has enjoyed a solid string of gainful employment, stable living conditions, wonderful weather and the freedom to pursue his hobbies to the degree that he desires.
